Sam the sweetheart, with nothing but kindness running through her bones. She is spunky, and loves to be with you, that being said she is okay on her own while you are at work. No fears with big dogs, as she currently snuggles up with her 75lbs foster brother.
Her one true love is food, the excitement is hard for her to contain. She enjoys her naps, the sun, the outdoors, and she is a great on leash walker, tries her hardest to keep up with you even though she is such a little thing!
Sam does have some medical issues, she recently had a large kidney stone removed and has to be on a special diet and be monitored for a reoccurrence which means at least for the first one to two years, a urinanalysis every 3 months, and depending on the results, possible radiographs. CCAR would be willing to cover the costs of veterinary expenses related to the kidney stone for the first year, and possibly the second year. We could consider making this adoption a longer term foster to adopt with special conditions such as foster supply food and supplies.
