Teddy is a roughly 3-5 year old gentle giant. He tips the scales at 16lbs but is not really overweight, as he has a very solid frame.
Teddy is both well-mannered and mild mannered. The majority of the time he enjoys his peace and quiet and long naps where he can keep an eye on anything happening around him, though recently he has started to show more interest in engaging with his foster humans, especially if there are treats involved. He will come bounding down the stairs from his ‘lookout’ when he hears the Temptations bag rattling, and often will stick around to watch some TV!
Teddy is not fond of getting picked up or being petted for long periods, though he tolerates it admirably. He does have a good playful streak in him and loves to attack his favourite toys with a fervour that belies his normally calm demeanour. He also likes to sleep on his humans’ bed at night, space permitting…
Teddy would do best in a relatively quiet home, as the sole non-human. He is very low maintenance and once he settles in he will be your steady and rewarding forever companion.
