Rocket is a special boy. He is super shy/nervous, but also super loving. Once he overcomes his shyness and gets to know you, he is a love bug – loves to cuddle, sit in your lap, help to type on the computer, follows me everywhere, purrs up a storm. He had a bit of a rough start to life, but is very healthy now. He is a bundle of energy – spends hours “rocketing” about the house, playing with everything. He is good with other cats but he does like to be the boss – he would probably prefer to be an only pet (unless he was adopted with his foster-sister, Bailey – who he loves very much). Rocket is looking for a quiet home, definitely a home without small children. When Rocket is excited he likes to chew on things – especially people’s fingers and toes. He truly is a lovely boy, but will need someone who is patient and understands it will take time to get to know him. I have been fostering Rocket for 2 months now and my family and friends have never seen him. He rockets into hiding as soon as a stranger enters the house. There will definitely be an adjustment period for Rocket, but anyone willing to take the time to get to know him, will be richly rewarded — he has a lovely nature and to top it off, he is extremely handsome.
