Misha and Mimi are sweet and sensitive sisters who are hoping to find a loving home where they can stay together. They had a bit of a rough start and were quite fearful of humans, especially Misha, but they’ve made so much progress and continue to get more confident and affectionate every day! They are curious but well-behaved, love to play and snuggle together, they especially love crinkly toys, blanket forts, lazing in sunbeams, watching Bird TV (the window), and real TV (their favourite show is Flatbush Cats!).

Once she’s settled in, Mimi is the more outgoing and affectionate sister. She loves to be petted and will snuggle up in your arms or sit on your lap when she’s in the mood! She’s an attentive little buddy, she’ll curl up beside you if you’re not feeling well or join you on the floor for yoga, when she’s excited to see you she wags her tail like a pup and will occasionally even play fetch!

Misha has blossomed so much since she arrived, but will need a lot of patience as she continues to build trust and come out of her shell. She relies on her sister for reassurance and cues on socialization, keeping them together would be ideal for her well-being and stability. She’s nervous about being approached, but loves to be in the same room as the people! She’ll follow you around the house and plunk down to observe, she likes to keep a close eye on the house happenings.

Misha loves to play more than anything, she needs a home that can give her a ton of playtime and let her race around. She’s started allowing (and even enjoying!) being petted, she might even become a lap cat one day!

Their ideal home would be a fairly calm environment with no kids or other pets, if you have experience with shy animals that’s a bonus! It may be a slow process and they will likely be very skittish for the first while. They’ll need a lot of time, patience, and TLC while they build confidence and trust, but once they do you’ll have the cutest calico company and endless entertainment! (CCAR ID: C21-507/508)
