Lola is a sweet, easygoing girl with soft green eyes and silky mostly white fur. Lola comes equipped with an astonishingly loud purr. Even her veterinary team commented that it was one of the biggest purrs they’d ever heard! She isn’t shy about putting it to good use whenever she’d like a few pats or she thinks dinner should arrive a little sooner.
Lola loves affection and happily spends her time close to her people. While she isn’t quite a lap cat yet, she enjoys being nearby and seems to become more interested in laps every day. In a home where she isn’t sharing attention with several other cats, we think she’s likely to become an even more devoted companion.
She has plenty of playful energy and especially loves chasing wand toys and spring toys. When she’s not playing, you’ll often find her stretched out in the nearest patch of sunshine, carefully following the sun from room to room throughout the day. One of her cutest habits is sleeping on her back with all four paws in the air, completely relaxed and trusting. When she is in this position she really enjoys a belly rub!
Lola gets along beautifully with her foster siblings. She enjoys playing and cuddling with them, and she has a wonderfully nurturing side. She’s known for giving her foster sister and brothers very enthusiastic baths—whether they asked for one or not!
Lola is confident and adapts well to new situations. She hasn’t met dogs yet, but her easygoing personality suggests she could do well with a calm, cat-friendly dog introduced at her own pace.
Lola does have feline herpes, a very common condition that doesn’t affect her overall health or lifespan. It causes one of her eyes to water, so she sometimes has a little tear staining on her white face. She doesn’t mind having it gently wiped away as part of her daily routine.
