Johnny is a 7 week old rescue kitten in our care who decided to be adventurous in his climbing and wound up having a tumble.  He was immediately taken to Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital by one of our fabulous volunteers,  where he was seen and treated for a potential fracture or damage to his cartilage (it is very difficult for vets to determine the actual problem in a kitten of this age).  Johnny has bounced right back and is not at all impacted by the splint he’ll need to wear until Wednesday, Aug. 23rd.

Johnny refuses to let anything slow him down and he continues to think that he’s invincible when it comes to leaping tall structures in a single bound.  We’re hopeful for a full recovery in a very short time.   He is very affectionate and entertaining; Johnny would do well in a home with other cats and children (CCAR ID:  L17-257).
