Jelly and his brother Bean had a tough start to life. Fending for themselves for their first couple of months, they were late to get to know what it’s like to live in a home and be loved by humans. Jelly will need a patient home where he can take his time getting used to all of the household activities. He loves to snuggle and will come over to greet you at feeding time with his croaky little meow. He’s very quick to climb into your lap and is always purring.
Jelly is enthusiastic with his affection and will usually start a snuggle session by climbing and nuzzling all over you before settling in. Sometimes he likes to groom (lick) your chin or nose a little as he’s nuzzling. He loves to get as close as possible and prefers to curl up right on your chest under your chin. Jelly can still get spooked by sudden movements or loud noises so he’s looking for a quiet home. For this reason, a home without small children would be best. Jelly may enjoy the company of another cat, or he would love to be adopted with his brother Bean. Jelly would do best starting out in one room and then gradually expanding his access to his home as he gets comfortable Jelly is an energetic and active kitten who can easily find mischief. He is looking for a home where he will be mentally and physically stimulated with play and he would love having lots of surfaces to climb.
