Meet Jade. He’s a young kitten and full of energy. He loves to run and play and he especially loves to pounce on the tail of his big foster brother. His purr is lovely and LOUD. He will be happy to snuggle in with you and watch a movie when he’s feeling tired and sleepy. But if he wants to play then he expects his humans to jump to it! Lol. He has been known to be a very curious kitten and still needs to learn a few manners. He still hasn’t learned that the counter top isn’t for cats. His favourite toys are wand toy, anything cat nip and boxes!
He was bottle fed from birth and had some trouble getting a good suction on the bottle. We checked him over and looked at his palate and everything seems fine but to be safe he was tube fed. He now eats and drinks independently. Because he does better with harder foods as opposed to soft foods he is on a dry food diet and does better with a tall water fountain. He has no fear and since he’s only known humans and his litter mates he’s very bonded with People.
We are looking for a foster to adopt for young jade. Once he is old enough to be neutered (6 months) we will double check his palate and sign off on the adoption.
