Wee Emma was rescued from the streets of Victoria by a Good Samaritan in August. At the time of her rescue she was found alone and starving and was estimated to be 10 weeks old.
Emma is now enjoying the comfort of living indoors and having a full belly. She was understandably scared when she came into foster care but as she built trust with her foster parents, has revealed her playful kitten self.
She loves to play with strings, feathers, and balls and is particularly fond of toys with bells. As she builds trust, she loves touch and will stretch out a paw inviting you to touch her. Head scratches are her favourite but she is slowly discovering that cuddling on a lap is also good.
This affectionate, playful kitten is looking for a home where she can feel safe and nurtured. It may take time for her to settle in but with patience and love, you will be rewarded with love in return.
Emma is best suited to a home that has experience integrating shy animals into their home. She will start out extremely shy and will need to be shown lots of patience as she slowly gains her confidence. We are certain that she will blossom in the right environment as she has shown us this in her foster home. (CCAR ID: L24-177)
