Bean and his brother Jelly had a tough start to life. Fending for themselves for their first couple of months, they were late to get to know what it’s like to live in a home and be loved by humans. Bean will need a patient home where he can take his time getting used to all of the household activities. He has so much love to give and right from day one in his foster home, he has enjoyed cuddling. He purrs constantly and as he gets more and more comfortable, he expresses his affection with nuzzles and long lap naps.
Bean can still get spooked by sudden movements and loud noises and that may always be the case. But once he gets to know you, he isn’t shy about jumping into your lap. He would do best in a quiet home without small children. Bean may enjoy the company of another cat, or he would love to be adopted with his brother Jelly. He is a very active and playful kitten. He loves wrestling with Jelly and batting a ball and chasing it around the room. Bean would do best starting out in one room and then gradually expanding his access to his home as he gets comfortable. Once he’s comfortable, Bean is like any other outgoing, mischievous kitten. Bean is an active boy and is looking for a home where he will be stimulated physically and mentally to make sure he expends his energy in appropriate ways. He loves climbing and would love to hve lots of surfaces to explore.
