Bacon got his name because he was born at breakfast time and everybody loves bacon! Bacon is a very handsome tabby kitten with lots of playful energy! Right now his best friend is his mom, Jade. They spend their days playing together and snuggling on a chair in the sun. Bacon was born in foster care and as an only-kitten he got lots of love and attention from his mom and from his foster family, which included a 9 and 13 year old. The 9 year old has been teaching Bacon how to give high-fives and he’s getting pretty good at it! Bacon would love a home with another kitten or young cat that he could play with. He enjoys kids of all ages. Bacon has never met a dog, but he is a very confident little guy, so it’s likely he could live with a dog friend. Bacon LOVES to play with toys and he has LOTS of energy. He’s still learning that hands and feet aren’t prey and that curtains aren’t for climbing, but with gentle guidance he’ll get it! .Bacon loves to “help” with everything you are doing and he loves to explore. Once he has burned off all his kitten energy he loves to snuggle up with his mom or one of his humans. He enjoys pats and chin scritches, but unless he’s very sleepy, belly rubs put him in play mode!
