If you are seeking a fun and loving companion for your home, you will never regret choosing Asher. This boy warms up to new people quickly and loooves attention, even enjoying being picked up and receiving tummy rubs more than most cats. He is an extrovert and will get vocal if left alone for very long (you will know he is happy to see you when you get home).
Asher came to CCAR as a kitten and developed a viral infection call FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) which up until several years ago, had no cure, however a drug has been developed and he was successfully treated and is on no medication. We have every reason to believe he is cured but, in the unlikely event he should relapse (and it has occasionally happened), we would ask to be contacted and we will arrange for a further round of treatment at our expense. This would form part of any adoption contract.
He would do well in a wide variety of homes, but his happiest place would definitely be with a family. He gets along well with other cats and would likely get along with a friendly dog. (CCAR ID: L22-279)
