This little princess is looking for her forever home. She is nine months old, spayed, micro-chipped, dewormed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is wonderful with dogs, kids and big people, but MUST be the only cat in the household.
We’ve named her Aoife (pronounced Eefa) which is an Irish name meaning beauty or radiance, but is also known as a great warrior woman. We thought this was fitting because of her beauty, but also because of how tough she has been. She has been through a lot. Aoife was in a shelter in Edmonton when the Fort Mac fires broke out. In order to house the cats from the fire, the shelter sent 51 of their cats down to Victoria. Despite all of this hardship, Aoife is a sweet and affectionate little girl. She is playful and fun, but not crazy. We have fostered her for four weeks now and she has not had any accidents nor damaged any of the furniture. She likes to sit in the sun and look out the window. She has fallen in love with our dog, but cannot get along with our cat. Too bad as we would have kept her for sure-she’s a gem!
