Elf is looking for her human(s) to give her the attention she so much craves and she can be with as much as possible, because she doesn’t like being alone.
Elf is mid-size and weighs about 45 lbs. She has some deformities in her legs, most likely from malnutrition, but that doesn’t stop her from being an active happy dog. She had been in a shelter overseas for most of her life before coming to CCAR. She is receiving medication which CCAR will supply for the rest of her life.
Elf still is a bit cautious around new people, but it doesn’t take long for her to ask for her belly rubs. She is an absolute love, and is learning to play. She is fine around cats and other dogs after proper introduction.
