Meet Suzzanne – a very sweet, quiet girl. Suzzanne may take a long time to feel comfortable in her new surroundings and may need some gentle coaxing, but once she gets to know you she is a perfect lap cat who loves to be petted and brushed. She has a very quiet purr and sometimes the only way you know she’s purring is that she’s vibrating. If she meows it’s usually because she wants something – especially a drink from the bathroom sink, which is her preferred way of drinking water.
This sweet girl took it upon herself to be a “therapy” cat while her foster mom was recovering from a back injury – she never left her side, whether it was on the bed or on her lap in a chair, she stayed with her day and night.
Suzzanne does not like strangers and will hide until they are gone and is afraid of children.
Her go to hiding place is under a bed.
She is not food oriented, however has some special treats that she seems to like.
Suzzanne is waiting to meet a calm person that will be patient with her as she gets to know them – best suited for a quiet household.
