Smokie is a sweet little cat that is very easy going, content and enjoys human company. She lets you know how she feels with quiet little meows and purrs, and loves to sit on your lap and get soft rubs to her head and neck. Any type of attention and affection is welcome!
Smokie is interested in watching what you are up to and tends to be social and greet new people that arrive rather than looking for a place to hide. She has a nice balance of being independent by sitting on a window ledge and watching what’s happening outside or finding a cushion to curl up on and nap the day away when you are busy. She has a bit of an adventurous side too, and she likes to chase a string or watch (and try to catch!) mice or gerbils on Cat TV. She is also well-behaved and gentle with furniture, etc.
