Shirley (we’re calling her Skye because of her gorgeous blue eyes) is a young, approximately 1 year old spayed female with remarkable colouring – she’s a diluted calico!
Skye’s got a great purr motor that gets going after a few head scratches. She’s just figuring out how to play with toys and she has one trick, if you hold your hand above her head she’ll probably stand up to nuzzle. She’s hasn’t discovered the wonderfulness of laps, but I think in time she’ll appreciate them. She’s very good with her litter box and good eater.
Skye’s quiet and curious and has been enjoying watching birds from out guest room window. She loves her little cat tent and to snuggle under blankets. She has met our older male cat and has asserted herself so we are keeping them separate. She might get along with other cats in time, but could be happy as an only-cat.
