Gorgeous Selis has been the most amazing, hard-working, fun and loving mama to her babies, and now that her little ones are grown and she has been spayed, it’s time for Selis to live her best life as the pampered princess she deserves to be! Selis is a litter box expert and a very clean cat.
Selis is sometimes a chatty girl who communicates her need for pats and other things using adorable little trills and chirps. She is a young cat who LOVES to play! She has had so much fun running around and wrestling with her kittens and she also loves wand toys and chasing balls. She especially loves toys that jingle! Selis really enjoys a good satisfying scratch, so sturdy scratching posts are a must in her forever home.
Selis will choose a scratching post over furniture and she has not been destructive in her foster home. She also enjoys a nice little cave for long afternoon naps.
Selis is a quirky girl who is still learning to fully trust humans, but many times a day she asks for head scritches and pats and while she’s not a lap cat yet, she does enjoy sharing the couch with her favourite human. Selis absolutely LOVES Churus and other lickable treats and will happily sit on her foster family’s laps or chests as long as there is a treat, but as soon as it is finished, she realizes what she’s doing and scoots off. Treats, pats and play will slowly but surely win Selis over!
Selis is very wary of strangers, so you may not get to interact much with her when you go to visit her in her foster home. Selis will likely spend some time hiding when she goes to her forever home and then it will take some time and patience to build trust, but it will be very worth it!
Selis is a bit nervous and can be startled easily, so she would prefer a quiet, cat-experienced home without children. She might enjoy a young, energetic cat friend to play with, but she would also be happy as your one-and-only!
Selis has absolutely beautiful grey and cream tortoiseshell fur and she is regrowing the magnificent feather tail and head ruff that she lost due to pregnancy hormones. She is going to be a fluffy lady who will most likely benefit from being brushed!
