Meet Ruby! She is a beautiful black and grey tabby with four perfectly white paws and bib, but around her nose a delicate dusting of ginger. Her favourite pastimes include watching birds through the window and chasing toys across the room (catnip mice, springs and balls are among her favs!) She is the only cat I’ve ever seen that tries to catch a laser dot with her teeth, so funny to watch!
This sweet and patient gal was reluctant to be picked up and held when she first came to us as a foster, but she loves getting pets and skritches! She’ll purr almost instantly. She’s starting to enjoy being a lap cat and is getting much better at being held, too.
She has recently been spayed and has healed beautifully. She is also micro-chipped.
Ruby is fostering here with another young feline roommate and is having no problems sharing her space with him. She grooms him, plays with him and she’ll even sit patiently while he plays incessantly with her tail! She should be a great companion for another cat.
