This gorgeous girl got off to a rough start after being rescued by CCAR, but she’s really turned a corner of late, and is now ready to find her forever home.
Initially, Princess went into a shell when we got her. Slowly, very gradually, she started to gain confidence and her true personality came out. She now seeks human company/attention on a regular basis, albeit on her own terms (we named her Princess for a reason!)
One of the great things about Princess is that she is very self-sufficient: manages her own food intake, very tidy in the litter, able to be left on her own if necessary (e.g., during the day when you work). She never tries to escape the house, has no bad habits that we know of and is very good natured.
Princess is quite happy playing on her own, although lately she prefers having her humans entertain her more and more. She has a silky soft coat and a beautiful, deep purr and enjoys lengthy, hearty head rubs and back massages.
On the downside, she can still be quite skittish, especially with strangers, and does not like being picked up at all. She also cannot be with other pets. She would do best in a quiet/tranquil environment with one or two mature humans.
