Pirate is a beautiful girl who is ready for a new place to call home. She is a bit shy and does require an adjustment period, but once she has warmed up to you she becomes a very friendly companion. She is not really a lap cat, but does love a good round of tummy rubs and ear scratches a few times a day and will let you know whenever she is in the mood, such a typical calico!
She would be good for either a single person or a couple, and with her quiet, unimposing demeanour she would make a terrific apartment cat. With older kids she should be okay, but little ones not recommended. She can get along with a feline roommate (she currently lives with one), but she would be undeniably happier and probably more social if she were the only cat in the house. Same with dogs, most likely.
