Moon is a really sweet girl hoping to find her forever home. She came all the way from California and her previous circumstances are unknown but presumably not very pleasant, yet none of that seems to have phased her. She adapted to her new surroundings very quickly and without any incidents, and has been a joy to foster.
Moon has a strong need to bond with her humans, and she has plenty of love and affection to go around. She is quite talkative at times, and is happy to tell you all about her day or if you’ve forgotten to refill the food dish, but never in a bad way. She is very happy hanging around wherever you might be, particularly in the morning and late evenings. During the day and afternoons she is often happy just baking herself in the sunlight.
Moon has a very mature demeanour and likes to flop, drop and roll frequently, and is very fond of tummy and head rubs, and we have never seen her get angry let alone attempt to bite or scratch. She has a lovely purr that lets you know how much she is enjoying your attention. She has no problem being picked up for short spells and while not a total lap cat, she will often settle within easy petting reach.
Given her enjoyment of human company, she would likely do best as an only pet, but she probably wouldn’t have any problem with younger children around.
