🖤 Meet Lucy 🖤
This beautiful black kitty is equal parts cuddle bug, bed hog, and professional nap enthusiast. She loves being petted, has the cutest soft and quiet little squeaky meow, and firmly believes that every bed belongs to her. At night, she’ll happily join in a game of “bed roulette,” rotating between family members to make sure everyone gets their fair share of Lucy cuddles.
Lucy is wonderfully easy to live with. She’s clean, polite, eats and drinks well. While she’d rather keep all four paws on the ground than be carried around, she’s incredibly gentle, trusting, and affectionate.
And then there are the TEETHIES.
Lucy has the most adorable little vampire fangs that are almost always peeking out. Combined with her big beautiful eyes and sleek black coat, she looks like a tiny vampire bat disguised as a house cat. It’s impossible not to smile when you see her face.
When Lucy was a kitten, she had a viral eye infection that left one eye a little sensitive. It may occasionally look watery and sometimes needs a quick wipe, but it doesn’t bother her and doesn’t slow her down one bit.
Lucy is also FHV-positive (feline herpesvirus), which is very common in cats. She only experiences occasional flare-ups if she’s stressed or feeling under the weather. FHV can’t be passed to people or dogs, but it can be passed to other cats, so Lucy is looking for a home where she can be the only feline queen.
According to her previous foster, Lucy adapted well to living with a puppy and could do well with a calm dog. She’s also been wonderful with our family, including our older kids and the constant stream of friends coming through the house.
