Meet Lucy – a Sweet and Resilient Soul 💛
Lucy came to us as a devoted mama to four precious kittens (all of whom have since found loving homes). She had a challenging start and required some extra medical care early on, but with patience, treatment, and lots of love, Lucy has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and treat-loving companion.
Lucy does have a manageable viral infection from earlier in life that has left her with some lasting sensitivity in one eye. This means her eye may occasionally appear watery, and she appreciates a gentle daily wipe, which she patiently allows. It’s simply part of her routine now and doesn’t stop her from enjoying life or giving affection.
Quiet and endearing, Lucy has a bit of “witchy” charm thanks to her adorable long fangs—but don’t be fooled! She is a total sweetheart. While she’s not quite a lap cat, Lucy loves to sleep beside you at night, happily rubbing her head on her favourite people and soaking up closeness.
Lucy prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and likes affection on her own terms, but she’s incredibly trusting and gentle, with no hint of aggression. She greets her people with a charming silent meow and quickly wins hearts wherever she goes.
Lucy enjoys playtime and is wonderfully independent, entertaining herself with ease, though she’s always happy to have a human join in. She is calm, sweet, and deeply loving once she feels safe.
As a TLC cat, Lucy will thrive best in a quiet, calm home where she can feel secure. She would do best as the only cat, and in a home without small children, as stress can sometimes cause mild eye flare-ups. Otherwise, she is currently happy, comfortable, and doing well.
Lucy is searching for a patient, understanding adopter who will offer her the peaceful environment and gentle care she deserves—and in return, she’ll give her whole heart.
