Lily is a small, elegant cat with unlimited energy and confidence for days. She is very passionate about her interests.
Lily is intensely curious and loves to be part of any activity. So – open a cupboard door and she is there to see what’s inside, run the bathwater and she is there to supervise the water filling up the tub. Open a window (screened of course), and she will sit and pass the time looking out. If the curtains are closed, Lily will squeeze behind them and sit on the window sill for a secret session of neighbourhood gazing.
Turn on the roomba – and while she won’t sit on it, she loves to watch it crisscross the room. In a burst of energy she will run up and down the hallway and stairs. She also loves traditional cat toys – the floppy fish, swooshing through a tunnel, feathers on a wand – But now that her energy is spent, her most favorite activity is when her human is around and available to pat her and allow her to get good and comfortable on a lap. Similarly, she loves when company comes over because there are new laps to explore!
While she is currently in a one human household, I feel Lily has enough confidence to handle a busier place.
