Hazel is a beautiful and intelligent charmer who is curious and very playful. He is happiest playing with other cats or helping himself to something from the toy box.
Once Hazel settles in, he is not particularly troubled by household noise or chaos. He does, however, take some time to get used to new surroundings, so you may not see him (outside of eating and using the litter, and even then…) for a few days or even a week until he gets his bearings!
He is a gentle cat who tolerates children (he currently lives with two boys under 10) but would probably be most comfortable in a household with older residents who are predictable and respectful of his boundaries. He isn’t much for snuggles or being handled just yet, but he likes to hang around with the family and will purr for cheek rubs and gentle pets. Hazel will thrive in a quiet home or one with more cats.
