Say hello to, Grey.
This big fella is ready to warm your heat and your lap – from your hips to your toes! Grey is a full-grown neutered male tabby, approximately 2 years old, fully litter trained and tipping the scales at about 12 lbs. /5.5 kg (he is not over-weight, just a big solid kitty!)
He is quick to cuddle and quick to purr. He loves to play, and pretty much anything makes an exciting toy, especially feather wands. He is an agile jumper, easily sailing 2-3 feet in the air in pursuit of that mischievous feather!
Grey would do great as a solo pet or in a home with another cat, possibly even a dog. His future housemate would ideally be able to match his playful exuberance and not be intimidated by his size. He really is just a gentle boy who loves to play but is still learning about personal boundaries.
Grey loves to be near his people. If he isn’t seeking to crawl onto your lap looking for cuddles, you might find him perched somewhere nearby watching you. (His favourite spot here is the back of the sofa.)
Grey has a pretty laid back temperament. Swoop him up into your arms and see how fast he rewards you with purrs and those big kitty-cat eyes. He has experienced a harness and leash and dressed up for Halloween without complaint, and he wears a collar with ease. He doesn’t even flinch when the resident cat at his foster home growls and hisses at him. He also has no aggression when he is eating. In fact, after coming running at the sound of fork meeting plate, he stands patiently until you’ve placed he plate down and moved away, not even a meow – such manners! Grey is actually very quiet, rarely meowing. The main exception; watching birds at the feeder outside the window.
