Fluffy came to us to be neutered (and honestly I really thought he was a she, he is so delicate) about a year ago from a farm in North Saanich. He came with his much bigger litter mate (Fluffy’s friend) who will be featured in this section shortly. Both were quite feral and I really thought Fluffy would never domesticate, but that Fluffy’s Friend might. I kept them initially because the weather was cold and then, depending on their social development, was going to either find them another farm or adopt them out if I could. Fluffy surprised me and everyone by becoming quite affectionate and social but he has developed some health issues, a tendency to become seriously constipated and pneumonia which is being treated but is taking a while to clear up. He will need some more diagnostics at some point but could conceivably be adopted out to the right home in the future. For now, he will remain in our care until we determine his health issues are dealt with.
