Fig is an very handsome and affectionate big boy. He also has a lovely purr. Once sure of his surroundings he will roam the house with his long plume of a tail high in the air looking for a comfy spot to take in the activity of family members. Then he will swoop in to sit on available laps and ask for pats. It is a spectacular sight to see him stretched out on his back for belly rubs, and to see all the colours of his coat close up. He is also playful and likes strings and elastic bands.
Despite having had most of his teeth removed due to past dental issues, Fig loves to eat (both soft and dry food!) and eagerly awaits mealtimes.
Fig is a people-person who would like to live in a house with either just adults or also (older) children, and either no other pets or maybe another compatible cat. He is very easy to pick up and handle — a little floppy even. Hide and Seek is one of Fig’s favourite games. ie: If Fig is feeling scared, or during mellow afternoons, he hides away in the most creative spaces. At this time Fig should NOT be allowed outside. If he got scared he would likely hide and make it very difficult for owners to track him down. And of course a secured fence is a must for any cat. Fig is litter-box trained and does not scratch furniture.
Special Things About Fig:
