Are you available to snuggle? I would like to sit on your lap or next to you in bed respectfully and snuggle pretty well all day. Dogs would be good to snuggle with too, and I’m pretty sure other cats would do just fine. In fact, anything that’s willing to snuggle with me would be ideal. I do have an enormous meow that my foster parents find very endearing.
I am entirely blind and hard-of-hearing, though, and need people and other animals to treat me gently and with the respect I deserve, because I’m just about the sweetest cat you’ll meet and won’t defend myself. I get enjoyment from eating my senior cat food or temptations treats, eating grass (and other plants, so please make sure they are cat-safe), being on high-places (despite not knowing I am up high?), and SNUGGLING.
I can move around perfectly well despite my blindness and deafness, thank you. My balance isn’t perfect, but my memory of places is pretty good once I’m accustomed to them. Cat-trees, stairs, and chairs pose no obstacles for me getting up, but sometimes I need assistance getting down from tables.
I also require 2mg of potassium in my senior canned food every day, and if you attempt to put a syringe in my mouth I WILL turn into a bona fide ninja, so it’s easiest for all of us if you just add it to my meal daily.
Please treat me with the patience and gentleness I deserve because I am literally perfect. I’d like to live out my days with lots of warm snuggles, in sunbeams, regularly timed-meals to help regulate my sleep/wake cycle, the occasional 3-minute play session on my feet so I can feel it, and a quiet, predictable house.
