About Cinders

Cinders (aka Muffin) is a domestic tabby though you wouldn’t know it at first glance. Her lovely soft silky coat is a mix of shades of brown and grey. She is a sweet little cat who loves to play. So far Cinder is not a ‘lap cat’ but does like to be near her humans and is quite attentive.  She will sit on laps but not for long periods. She is quite vocal with a pleasant speaking voice and also has a lovely purr. Cinders gets a bit anxious when left alone and will come greet you as soon as she hears the door open with a welcome home chirp.

Cinders is a tidy cat with good grooming habits and a healthy appetite. She does not like sharing her foster humans with other animals so will do best with no other pets. She does not have all her front claws so she should remain an indoor cat, though she loves to observe the outside world. She can be trusted on the balcony where she likes to sit and watch the world go by.

Cinders is no scaredy-cat! Although she does not enjoy being picked up very much she is quite “smootchy” when she is firmly planted on the ground, and she is very sociable. She most enjoys having her head rubbed, and she loves being the centre of attention. She will carry on a constant conversation and follow you around and if there is a toy involved (particularly any kind of ‘stringy’ object) she will literally play with you/it for hours on end. When guests come to visit, she does not run away and in fact is quite happy to join in with the group. Cinders will be a fine addition to any loving home.
