I’m Chloe – a tiny calico girl who became a mom much too young! I was all set to be posted for adoption when I unexpectedly gave birth to 4 tiny kittens. It’s been a rollercoaster adjusting to a new foster home and motherhood all at once but I am taking it in stride. I’m a doting mom and took excellent care of my babies…though when they first learned to walk I was so excited to have playmates that I may have been a little over enthusiastic in wrestling with them! I am just a kitten still myself, after all.
I am the type of cat who runs to see her human and purrs and purrs but doesn’t love to be held. Pick me up for a short snuggle then let me get back to twining around your ankles! If I get very excited I may nip at your feet – not in a mean way, I just want your attention. I love chasing the laser pointer more than any other toy and will run and run and run until I’m breathless and panting. I’ve enjoyed having my babies as playmates and would do well as a co-kitty with my son, Ginger. I’m careful and cautious in new situations and I’m not so sure about dogs. I have never attempted to dart out the door at my foster…they have to really encourage me to even visit upstairs. I’m a lovely cat and after all the adventures I’ve had and places I’ve been in my first year on the planet, I think I’m ready to settle down and enjoy a quieter life with my forever people.
