Chip came in as a surrender from a quiet apartment home and his manners make him perfect for apartment living. He has a little meow, and enjoys spending time when you’re not home snoozing under the covers or watching the world go by from a good window.
He is a loving cat who will melt into chin scritches and brushing even when he’s unsure of new surroundings. When he first came to foster he needed a week to warm up and learn the sights and sounds of his new place, but once he settled in it was time for wand toy hunting and getting into the catnip. He can really zoom around the house when he gets into a mood! After a full day he enjoys sitting on the couch with you, watching cat TV and having his face and neck massaged. You might even get a little drool as a reward.
Chip would do best in a calm home, ideally as the king of the castle, but could potentially work with a settled older cat. He is sensitive to loud noises and erratic movement so a household with adults or older cat savvy kids would work great for him.
If you’d like a calm and gentle companion to join your family, Chip would love to meet you!
Chip’s CCAR ID# is S26-288
