CeeCee: I am all 4 seasons in one day. Wherever you are, I want to be there too, but you pet me the wrong way and I won’t have it, I need someone who is very, very patient. I am a bit “sassy” and will tell you if I am unhappy, but I have a bit of an excuse.
I was born with a birth defect that makes my lower half in pain all the time. This gives be some anxiety when people walk too close to me or touch my sore places. I am getting better at not attacking hands and legs but sometimes I don’t know my own strength. I usually stop and apologize with kisses.
I would not do well with any other pets, I make myself as big as I can when I watch my foster mom use her fluffy blush brush! Really, I just want to be someone’s full time companion and lick the skin off their face every morning (I’m like clock work). I sleep with my foster mom every single night so you better expect a to share those blankets. My favorite time is when my people are home and I can curl up beside them, or awkwardly on them (half on, half off is the best) then I can get right in their face for some good kisses. I am not shy and love when there is company but I don’t think most kids will be as gentle with me as I need. I take meds everyday (twice a day) to help with the pain but have heard surgery might be the best way to go and I am told that CCAR is exploring this possibility. Dr. Wilson feels that if I have surgery and it is successful, I will be a lot less edgy as I will not hurt as much as I do now. That would be so nice! (CCAR ID: L17-037)
