This was honestly one of the nicest sweetest cats I have ever had the privilege of living with and she was a tortieshell. Not an ounce of attitude in this cat. She came to us from Borden Mercantile in bad shape with an auto immune disease that we managed to get under control. She lived with me for about three. She ended up having major abdominal surgery because she had an intussusception. Of course this weakened her significantly. Long story short, lots of stuff went wrong with Borden. The vet at the hospital said he has never seen a cat that wanted to live so much and with so much going on with her. She did want to live, I know that for sure, but I also know for sure that today she had had enough and although I wish she was still with us, I know letting her go was the right decision.
