Arwen is a quiet, sensitive cat who prefers to take her time getting to know new people and spaces. She often starts tucked safely under the bed, observing the world from a distance. But once she feels comfortable, her personality slowly shines through.
As Arwen settles in, she becomes more vocal and will chat softly to let you know when she’s ready for attention or hoping for a treat. She is still learning to fully trust and accept being petted, but she enjoys gentle affection, including the occasional belly rub. She will often roll over to offer, just out of arm’s reach. She also loves the simple joys of watching birds from the window, soaking up the sun, and hunting the occasional bug.
Arwen would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home as the only pet, where she can feel safe and build confidence at her own pace. She is generally okay with guests and will come out to say hello once she feels comfortable, but she is not suited to a home with dogs or a lot of activity. She currently lives in a condo with loud neighbours, but I’m sure she would enjoy a quieter space.
For someone patient and understanding, Arwen offers a special kind of companionship, one that grows stronger over time as she learns to trust and feel at home.
