Ace is a handsome 3-year-old long-haired black cat with a calm, easy-going personality. He settles into new routines remarkably well and is happy to spend his days simply being near his people.
Whether you’re working from home, watching TV, or reading a book, Ace is content to quietly keep you company.
He’s an adaptable boy who doesn’t ask for much. Ace isn’t the type to constantly meow for attention or demand meals the second they’re due. He’s happy to follow your routine, enjoys a predictable home, and takes life’s little changes in stride.
Ace enjoys a good play session with a wand toy and will happily chase and pounce when invited, but he’s just as content to spend hours lounging in a sunny window, on his cat tree, or curled up in a cozy spot. One of his favourite pastimes is soaking up the sunshine and watching the world go by.
While Ace enjoys his independence, he also has a sweet, affectionate side. He has always chosen to sleep on the bed with his foster family, and more recently has started snuggling up even closer, often using an arm as his pillow for the night. He isn’t a cat who constantly demands attention, but he has a quiet way of showing he enjoys being close to the people he trusts.
Ace is currently being investigated for food allergies and sensitivities. He is doing well on a hypoallergenic rabbit-based diet and may need his adopter to continue working with their veterinarian to determine his long-term dietary needs. He has also received treatment for ear mites and fleas and has been a wonderful patient throughout.
