Cat’s Craddle Testimonies
Posted on March 9, 2025Lottie: A playful Companion

I would like to share some pictures of my wonderful friend Lottie. She is a lovely little being that we were able to adopt after CCAR took her in when she was about 7 months old and pregnant. She had her three kittens the day after she was sent to a foster mom. Thank goodness! I can’t imagine a young kitty having kittens by herself somewhere unknown.
Lottie started sweet and playful, and after 4+ years, she is still the same delightful cat. She has been a fantastic addition to my family. She likes to jump on my walker and go for “uber” rides, sleeps at night by my knee, enjoys watching the hummingbirds in the morning, and disappears into the closet when anyone comes to the door.
Thank you, CCAR, for rescuing her and letting me adopt her. Lottie has been a fantastic little cat and a joyful addition to my family.
Julep: Small Cat, Big Attitude

Adopted back in 2021, Julep has an older feline brother, Shawn. The two became fast friends (literally and figuratively with the zoomies!). He was a little scrap of a thing at first and, though still small now, has a big attitude and a floofy tail to match. He keeps everyone—human and feline—on their toes in his house!
Crema: From Middle East to Forever Home

Crema (formerly Griselda) joined our family late last year after making the long trip from the Middle East. Once arrived here, she instantly received a whole new extended family of two people (us) and three other cats!
After the initial weeks of cautious maneuvering, sniffing, and some hissing, our toy-loving, chatty, and energetic girl became fast friends with Wally. She embraced daily morning zoomies and pole climbing with the rest of the gang, discovered lounging by the fireplace, and experienced what could be her first snow.
Due to her past experiences of living outside and limited trust of people or confined spaces, we are very slowly working towards Crema getting picked up and held, napping under covers, in boxes, and safely entering a cat carrier. We all are looking forward to growing this connection with Crema and seeing her blossom in our home.
Risa: From Feral to Beloved Family Member

Their first meeting was brief—Risa darted across the foster home floor in a flash—but that was all it took. “I’ll take her,” her adopter laughed, knowing in their heart that she was meant to be theirs.
With time, patience, and love, Risa blossomed. She went from a timid girl to a devoted companion, snuggling close every night, purring with contentment. Though she crossed the rainbow bridge in 2017, she remains forever loved and deeply missed.
Thank you, CCAR, for bringing Risa into our lives.
