Velvet is an absolute love bug. She comes running when you enter a room and call out to her and can not wait for all the head and full body scratches you can muster. She is curious and confident but if a loud noise arises she will scoot for cover; not too far though. She always returns promptly to her current endeavor.
She is great with her cat post and has a full understanding of her litter box. From time to time she tries to catch her pesky tail while attempting to do her business but is quickly realizing the litter box is no place for games.
Velvet gets along well with her rambunctious and forward foster brother who has never had a sibling before.
Velvet would be well suited in most any home, but will still need to have tabs kept on her during exploration time. She is incredibly interested in climbing to the highest point in the room so she can observe everything. A good cat tree with a number of levels would do her wonders! (CCAR ID: C18-062)
