Meet Joanie – Joanie is a very sweet, mischievous cat who loves playing, human attention and interaction, and exploring her environment. She is a petite beauty.
Joanie gave up her youth to look after her family so she is now getting to experience her own adolescence. She is a quick and passionate learner! In a short time she has discovered and fallen in love with everything from head rubs, catnip toys, games, warm laps, meeting apartment visitors, bouncing around the apartment, and carrying around felt toys in her mouth. As with all adolescents she does test boundaries but she is responding well to gentle, engaged guidance on what is ok and what isn’t. Once she’s learned something new or adjusted to something she wasn’t used to she’s a pro.
Joanie does not have experience with children, dogs, or other cats. I believe she would do well in a home where she gets lots of attention and playful interaction from her people, children included. (CCAR ID: C23-067)
