About Gatsby

If you’re looking for a shot of energy into your household then look no further than sweet Gatsby.  This loveable little tabby is all or nothing – rocketing around the house or passed out on your lap.  He loves to jump and play and is forever getting himself trapped in cupboards and closets while exploring but when he has tuckered himself out on his adventures, he likes nothing more than to curl up with a human and purr while he falls asleep.  His fur is unbelievably soft and he is very chatty – especially when you’re in the kitchen.

Gatsby has impeccable litter box manners, is quite gentle, and is definitely picking up the rules of where he should, and should not, go.  He is friendly with other cats however he is currently on a hypoallergenic diet and is very food oriented so keeping him from eating another cat’s food can be a challenge.  Gatsby is good with children and fairly independent but he gravitates towards human company and would likely become lonely if he was left by himself for extended stretches.  Come meet this little charmer and be prepared for him to melt your heart.

For full disclosure, Gatsby was diagnosed with juvenile stomatitis and had some dental work to clean up his gums. He is greatly improved and we are hopeful he will continue along this path. However, in the event he does require more dental work, CCAR will accept the responsibility for this work as long as it is done at a vet of our choice and pre-approval is obtained. Our vet will be happy to talk to you about this condition during a vet visit, which is paid for, at our vet, Dr. Elizabeth Wilson at the Broadmead Village Vet Clinic.  (CCAR ID: C22-250)
