Sweet Cleo is a lovely pug/chi mix. You’ll fall in love with her immediately when you see that sweet underbite that’s so common in her mix. She’s definitely a lap hugger who would be quite happy to just snuggle all day long. If she’s not on your lap, she’s happy to quietly follow you wherever you go.
Cleo would be best suited to a lower energy household, perhaps the best dog for a senior or as a therapeutic dog. She’s very food motivated and would have to be fed separately from other animals in the home until she understands she has a constant source of food. She will fit in great if you already have another easy going dog, she really likes to “mother” my young dog, likely due to her obviously having a lot of puppies in her lifetime and one even quite recently in the shelter. No more of that for her, she’s happy just to not have to do much of anything anymore but be loved and cherished.
She is fully house trained now and ready to find her forever home where she can spend the rest of her life in warmth and comfort.
Cleo’s approximate age is 7-8 but her health is excellent and vet says she could easily live to 14-15 yrs of age. She has had major dental work and is now ready to find her person. She is learning the leash, but prefers just to go for her pee and come back home. She could easily be pad trained for those living in a condo. She’s quiet, and rarely barks.
