Meet Ariel. This very sweet, but very insecure girl has a lot of potential as a trusty companion. When she first arrived into our care she was afraid of everything. It took her over a month to build up enough confidence to wander through the house. Cats are scary, and large spaces are as well.
We have no background history of her, but we feel she has been kept for breeding in a confined area and had very little human interaction. She does not know how to play, has had absolutely no training other than housetraining (she uses pads when scared to go out, no accidents), and is learning to enjoy cuddles and pets.
This little girl of about 15 lbs needs a quiet home with a patient person to show her the world is not such a scary place. She does not walk on a leash yet, since stepping outside of the yard is still too scary. Right now she follows her foster everywhere and lays down within a couple of feet wherever the foster may be.
