Stuart was originally adopted as a kitten from the SPCA, and he recently came to us when his caregiver had to go into a home. He has been allowed to roam quite freely but now appears content to be indoors. While he doesn’t actively seek attention, he enjoys being held and stroked when you initiate it. In a different environment where he gets more one on one attention, I think Stuart would be asking for attention.
Stuart sits quietly and observes what is going on. He has no aggression towards other cats and will allow much younger cats to push him away from his food—which they do—so I have to try and feed him separately. He is approximately 10 years old and is in good health. He would do well in most situations, probably no really young children would be best, but this guy really does deserve to spend the next 10 years or so of his life being loved and cared for.
