Mae is a darling cat with a very interesting medical history. She came to CCAR pregnant, but after some diagnostics, it turned out that she had an ectopic (not in utero) pregnancy consisting of two kitten that had been mummified. It’s a miracle she’s still alive, but she’s happy and healthy after recovering from her surgery!
Mae is a very sweet natured cat, and is super affectionate towards people. She adores sleeping on pillows, and next to her human. Her favorite thing in the world is head scratches. She returns the love with biscuits, purrs, and head boops. She will tolerate other cats, but would thrive best in a household where she doesn’t have to share her person.
