When Mac was rescued, he had a cleft palate (a hole in the roof of his mouth). He had surgery in March and has been healing well. He still has a tiny opening in his nasal area which the vet thinks can be closed with another minor surgery. At that time, Mac would use a feeding tube for a few weeks like he did last time. Until then, Mac has what could loosely be called a nasal drip. He gets medicine 3x/week to help with the healing.
Mac is a very kool kat. Lap time is his favourite (non-)activity. His graceful movements are contained in a long-legged, lightweight, gentle package. He uses a scratching post, not furniture, to exercise his nails. His black-and-white short coat is very low-maintenance. He’s quiet and uses his cat house (included) to sleep in at night. Mac is very laid back. In the face of hissing, clawing hostility from another cat, he just calmly turns and ambles away. Definitely a lover, not a fighter.See All Memorials
