This poor cat is so traumatized; he almost certainly was abused as he cringed in fear from a broom when a volunteer was sweeping out the cat room in the Thrift Store.
We have Keenan in the thrift store so he will get some attention and handling and are limiting visitors to quiet, low key people. He does respond to petting, he can be picked up, but he will need to trust people and a quiet environment. If you have are interested in fostering him, please contact ccar@shaw.ca.
