Jade was a wonderful mom and now she is looking for her forever home.
Jade is a lovely, quiet, easy-going, gentle cat who loves to play with her toys and snooze in sunny spots.
Jade really enjoys being in the same room as her people and she is a careful observer of everything. She loves pats but she will let you know if she has had enough. She will come to you if you shake the treat bag and she loves crunchy tuna-flavoured treats. Jade has excellent litter box habits and she keeps her beautiful black and white fur impeccably clean. Jade loves her indoor life and she has no interest in doors or getting outside.
Jade has just started to come up on the sofa and sit next to someone to be patted. She isn’t a lap cat yet, but she seems to be slowly working up to it. Jade hasn’t been brave enough to join her humans in bed yet and she prefers to sleep in her cat bed. Jade is very happy to see her people in the morning and get some attention, but she will let you sleep in even if her food dish is empty.
In her new home, Jade is going to need some time and patience to build confidence as she is quite a nervous cat and she is still learning to trust people. Jade would really enjoy a home with another young cat that she can play with and learn people skills from, or a family or person that will take time to play with her. Jade is used to noisy older kids who are respectful with her, but she is more relaxed in the company of adults. She wouldn’t do well with the unpredictability of younger kids. Right from her first day in her foster home, Jade has had a very special relationship with her foster dad. Jade hasn’t had the opportunity to meet a dog, so it’s unknown how that would go.
