Izzy looks like an Egyptian Mau and damaged her eye as a kitten. The vet says the eye is completely healed now but her vision in that eye is probably blurred. She must never be an outside cat. When she came to Cat’s Cradle, she was shy, nervous and introverted. She didn’t let people get near and wouldn’t let you pick her up.
After a few months in foster care, she has really come out of her shell. She has become affectionate, playful, cuddly and very talkative. Although she got along well with another cat, she seems to flourish as an only cat. It would also be better if she was not placed with young children as she gets startled at sudden noises and movements possibly due to her decreased vision.
