This is Iris, known fondly by her foster home as Kevin — Iris is too graceful a name for this goofball (foster home comment!)

Kevin is a very beautiful girl, but she’s honestly the least graceful cat I’ve ever met.  She doesn’t enjoy heights and somehow manages to fall off of something at least once a day.  She’s an incredibly adorable goofball.  She’s fiercely independent, limiting her brief moments of physical affection to times when food will be her reward, but she loves to be near her people.  She’ll follow you wherever you go, and if you dare close a door on her she will chatter at you from the other side until you’ve realized the error of your ways.  She’ll sleep at the foot of your bed, and if your blanket is especially thick she may accidentally snuggle with your legs.

Kevin is a talkative girl and she has a never-ending well of kitten-like energy – she will happily play with her toys, or with you, for hours. She’d be a great fit for a calm, even-tempered person or family without young children; she can get a bit over-excited sometimes and has been known to communicate with her teeth and claws.  She’s an absolute pleasure to live with, as long as you respect her space.
